# Garbi Equity Certificate

It represents an index of assets used for trading on the platform. Users can mint $GEC by adding any index asset to the liquidity pool (LP), and $GEC is burned each time a user removes any index asset from the LP

The price of the GEC token is determined by the total value of assets in the pools, divided by the total supply of GEC tokens. This means that as the value of assets in the pools fluctuates, so too will the value of each GEC token. By holding GEC tokens, investors can gain exposure to a diverse range of assets without the need for complex and time-consuming trading strategies. Whether you're a seasoned investor or new to the world of cryptocurrency, the GEC token offers a simple and accessible way to manage your investments and diversify your portfolio.

The first of these pools is the Stablecoins pool, which consists of USDC, DAI, and USDT. By providing liquidity to this pool, investors can earn rewards in the form of veGRB tokens, which give them a say in the governance of the GarbiSwap platform. In addition, holders $GEC are entitled to 70% of the platform fees, which are distributed in USDC & veGRB

These fees are generated by trades on the GarbiSwap platform, making $GEC a valuable asset for anyone looking to earn passive income from their crypto holdings. With its powerful combination of liquidity, rewards, and fee-sharing, $GEC token is a smart choice for investors who want to maximize their returns and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.

On our GEC Exchange page, you can buy and sell $GEC. The price for minting and redemption is determined by the total asset value in the index.
